PURPOSE:To carry out automatic stacking of light paper by projecting a shutter over a stacking conveyor while arranging an intermittently rotatable comb type carry-out plate in the gap of conveyor and inserting following sheets sequentially to the lowermost face. CONSTITUTION:A timing roll 90 arranged on a second conveyor 88 rotates with same or slightly lower speed than that of the conveyor 88 and feeds overlapped sheets A to a stack conveyor 11. A shutter 12 is arranged at a position for enabling stacking of sheet A onto the stack conveyor 11, and the tip of the sheet A moved through rotation of the stack conveyor 11 stops at the position of the shutter 12 while following sheets A are fed sequentially onto the stack conveyor 11 and inserted sequentially to the lowermost face because they are overlapped.
