PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of antitorque and perform a high-speed rotation by processing a position sensing signal through a logical circuit for constituting said signal in such manner that it has a width larger than that of a starting point by 90 deg. electrical angle. CONSTITUTION:A two-phase semiconductor motor is formed of a magnet rotor 1 and armature coils 2a, 2b.... The number of magnetic poles of said rotor 1 is 6 and said poles are magnetized in N and S magnetic poles 1a, 1b and arranged at equal pitches. Also, coils 2a, 2c are provided with the same phase and power is applied thereto from terminals 3a, 3b, and coils 2b, 2d are arranged with the phase delayed by 90 deg. from that of said coils 2a, 2c to constitute fixed armatures. Further, Hall elements 5a, 5b of a position sensing element are fixed on the armature side and a logical circuit is provided to constitute a conducting control circuit so that power is applied to the armature coil 2 by the value equal to the width of said position sensing signal. Thus, an applied voltage is increased to augment the rise speed of an armature current and a torque to perform a high speed rotation. |
