<p>PURPOSE:To reduce waste of pressurized gas by combining plural pressure swing adsorbers having different production scales in accordance with the amt. of a desired component required and by successively starting and stopping adsorption in the adsorbers in the order of increasing scale. CONSTITUTION:O2 is fed to an O2 utilizing device 5 from pressure swing adsorbers 6 through a pipe 22. In order to obtain the amt. of O2 required by the device 5 and to minimize the difference between the amt. of O2 fed and the amt. of O2 required, adsorption in the adsorbers 6 is separately started and stopped and the number of the adsorbers is controlled to control the flow rate of O2. The adsorbers 6 have different O2 production scales and adsorption in the adsorbers 6 is successively started and stopped in the order of increasing scale.</p> |
