<p>PURPOSE:To improve thermal efficiency and make a heating source as smaller as possible by forming a heat exchanging part in adjoining gas supply passages and gas discharge passages. CONSTITUTION:Five faces of a gas heating chamber 1 are formed by walls 2 of heat insulating material and the remaining face is formed with a permeable radiation converter 4 and an electric heater 3 is installed inside. Above the converter 4 a heat exchanging part 5 where gas supply passages and gas discharge passages composed of heat transfer plates 11 are alternatively installed is placed and the outside of a casing 7 is surrounded by heat insulating material 6. The temp. of the chamber 1 is kept at e.g. 700-1500 deg.C by the heater 3 and dirty gas A1 introduced from a gas intake 8 is passed through the gas supply passage of the part 5 and introduced into the chamber 1 through the converter 4 by a fan 9. The gas A1 is raised in its temp. by the part 5 and the chamber 1, and becomes clean air A2 where dirty components such as foul odor component, etc., are completely burnt out and pass through the gas discharge passages of the part 5 and then is discharged outside from an exhaust port 10.</p> |
