PURPOSE:To reduce the heat exchanging load by installing a heat pipe unit in which a heat absorbing part is arranged at an upstream side of the heat exchanging unit and a heat discharging part is arranged at a cooling source. CONSTITUTION:Heat of air Qw having a hot temperature and a high humidity fed into a first chamber 3 is deprived of its heat by a heat absorbing part 11a of a heat pipe unit 11. Working liquid in a pipe 11c is evaporated and moved toward a heat discharging side 11b. Vapor of working liquid is cooled by a cooling fan or the like as required, condensed and liquified. The air discharges condensed latent heat into the surrounding atmosphere. The condensed and liquified working liquid is returned back to a heat absorbing side 11a. A heat of the air is absorbed at the heat absorbing side of the heat pipe unit to decrease the air temperature. The air is fed into a heat exchanging unit and the heat absorbed at the heat absorbing side of the heat pipe unit is thermally transmitted to the heat discharging side of the heat pipe unit and discharged to a cooling source, so that a heat exchanging characteristic in the heat exchanging unit is improved.
