PURPOSE:To uniformly perform plating treatment of a material to be treated by immersing a barrel charged with the material to be treated into a treatment soln. and rotating the barrel while keeping a holding axis as a center and also rocking it to the direction of a cylindrical axis. CONSTITUTION:A material to be treated is charged into a barrel 8 and this barrel 8 is immersed into the treatment liquid in a treatment tank 14 by lowering a supporting hanger 1. Then when actuating a motor 31 and driving a chain 15, a sprocket 11 is rotated and a barrel gear 21 is actuated via screw gears 16, 17, 18 and a spur gear 20, and the barrel 8 is rotated while keeping a holding axis as a center. Further a sprocket 12 is rotated by the chain 15 and a disk 28 is rotated via small gears 26, 26 and the barrel 8 is rocked to the direction of a cylindrical axis via a link rod 29 and an axial rod 30 pivoted in the eccentric position of the disk 28. Thereby the material to be treated is subjected to uniform plating treatment.
