<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a simple miniature disconnection-detector, by feeding voltage divided with a resistor connected to a detected lighting equipment in series, to a photo-transistor. CONSTITUTION:When a head lamp switch 1 is made, then if a light reduction switch 2 is on the full light side, current flows to the main filament 6a of the head lamp 6 via a resistor 3a. At the same time, voltage at both the ends of the resistor 3a is fed to the LED side of a photo-transistor 7a. Then, a detection indicating lamp 8a is lit, and the lighting of the head lamp 6 can be confirmed. In the meantime, when the main filament 6a of the head lamp 6 is disconnected, then voltage divided with the resistor 3a is gone, and the photo-transistor 7a is turned non-conductive. As a result, the detection indicating lamp 8a is extinguished, and the disconnection of the main filament 6a of the head lamp 6 can be confirmed.</p> |
