PURPOSE:To increase vibration resistance and to prevent deterioration in discharge capacity by electrically connecting the positive terminal side end if a metallic current collecting net exposed from a power generating element group to a positive terminal plate with a positive current collector made of conductive polymer. CONSTITUTION:A power generating element group 3 is formed by spirally winding a sheet-like negative active material 5 and a sheet-like positive active material 7 pressed against a metallic current collecting net 6 with a separator 8 interposed between them. The end, facing a positive terminal plate 4, of the current collecting net 6 is extruded from the power generating element group 3 to form an exposed part 6, and the exposed part 6a is connected to a positive terminal plate 4 with a positive current collector 9 made if elastic, conductive polymer. The negative active material 5 is connected to the bottom of a case 2 with a negative current collector 10. A cylindrical organic electrolyte battery in which vibration resistance is increased, deterioration in discharge capacity is prevented, and production cost is reduced can be obtained. |
