PURPOSE:To provide a sealant having excellent workability and appearance after coating, by incorporating a specific flow modifier into a base resin comprising paste grade PVC and blend grade PVC. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. base resin (A) comprising 95-60pts.wt. paste grade PVC and 5-40pts.wt. blend grade PVC is blended with 50-150pts.wt. inorganic filler (B) (e.g., CaCO3), 20-50pts.wt. thixotropic agent (C) (e.g., CaCO3 treated with a vegetable fatty acid), 100-200pts.wt. plasticizer (D) (e.g., phthalic esters), 10-30pts.wt. adhesive component (E) (e.g., acrylic resins), and 10-50pts.wt. flow modifier (F) which is a swollen gel prepd. by mixing an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin having a vinyl acetate unit content of 20-45% with a phthalic plasticizer at a wt. ratio of 1:2-6 while heating them at 60-80 deg.C.
