This invention concerns an electrically heated car rear- view mirror comprising an electrical heating element located against the back of the mirror. According to the invention the heating element 1 consists of an insulated heating cable 2 which is coiled into a flexible self- supporting unit in the shape of a flat spiral with closely-wound coils.
