PURPOSE:To improve the strength and softening temperature of a molding, by adding a microbially produced cellulosic fiber to a plastic molding. CONSTITUTION:A plastic molding containing a microbially produced cellulosic fiber. Examples of processes for adding said cellulosic fiber to a plastic include melt blending and solution blending processes. Generally, the amount of said cellulosic fiber is 0.01-50pts.wt., preferably 0.2-30pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. plastic. When the amount of said cellulosic fiber added to a plastic is excessively small, the effect of increasing the strength or improving the softening temperature is excessively small. When it is excessively large, it causes brittleness of a molding, poor surface appearance or excessive hardness.
