PURPOSE:To steer a ship to a precise course even if the tide or wind runs strong by correcting the course every passing of a prescribed time or every movement of a prescribed distance when the ship is automatically steered by loran radio waves. CONSTITUTION:At first, a time difference value (xn, yn) corresponding to an objective position Pn is inputted from a keyboard at a starting position P1. In accordance with the movement of the ship, an output of a receiving device 10, i.e. the contents of the time difference signal S10 (x1, y1), is changed and an output of a comparator 22, i.e. the content of a differential signal S22 (xn-x1, yn-y1), is also changed. Since an output S24 of a clock circuit 24 is turned to the high level at a prescribed period, an angular difference calculating circuit 23 outputs an angular difference signal S20 in every reading of the differential signal S22 in accordance with the turning to the high level. Repeating said operation at a prescribed period makes it possible to approach the ship to the objective position Pn gradually along an approximately straight course even if disturbance such as tide or wind is strong. |
