PURPOSE:To obtain the titled fiber having excellent heat-resistance, weather resistance, etc., and easily producible without lowering the productivity by the plasticizing effect of a liquid polyester, by compounding a liquid polyester to a conventional polyester. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber having a strength of >=6.8g/d and an elongation of <=20% can be produced by compounding a liquid polyester to a conventional polyester preferably by the quick kneading into the conventional polyester before melt-spinning. The above liquid polyester is preferably those produced by using adipic acid as an acid component and ethylene glycol or 1,3-butanediol as a glycol component. The liquid polyester has a hydroxyl value of <=20 mgKOH/g from the viewpoint of heat-stability, etc.
