摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To easily read, to be thin in thickness and to reduce a cost by providing a transparent coordinate detector sticking a polarizing plate on the top face of it and not having the top face polarizing plate of TN type liquid crystal on the bottom face of it. CONSTITUTION:An input device consists of top and bottom glass plates 28 and 29 to constitute a TN type liquid crystal, a TN type liquid crystal 30, transparent electrodes 31 and 32, a bottom polarizing plate 33, a light diffusion plate 34, a sealing material 35, glass plates 21 and 22 to constitute a coordinate detector, a transparent resistance film 23, insulating dot spaces 24 and 25 and a sealing material 26. When a point P on the top part of a top polarizing plate 36 is pressed, the transparent resistance film is pressurized through the top glass plate 21, the insulating spacer 25 of a pressing point P is pressurized, and transparent resistance films 23 and 24 are brought into contact. Thus, the potential of the pressing point P is detected by the directions of an X axis and a Y axis against a voltage scanned by the films 23 and 24, the pressing point P is recognized for the two-axis coordinate of the X axis and the Y axis, a voltage is impressed on the films 28 and 29 of a specific place of a liquid crystal indicating body by the recognized coordinate value, and a displaying is executed by the action of the polarizing plate 36 and 33.</p>
