PURPOSE:To perform a joint treatment of an image smoothly by preventing a line on a border part of images from occurrence, by a method wherein processing of an image output part is performed by overlapping, that is, by including an image part which has been processed on the preceeding time and the image part to be processed on the following time. CONSTITUTION:By utilizing the fact that an error from a region (b) is largely influenced from a part adjacent to a region (a), a number of pixels in a line more than that of an actual binary output region, for instance, 5 pixels are read and processed by overlapping to form this method. Therefore, when an attention region is read to be processed, each several pixels of each line in two before and after regions adjacent to the attention region are read by overlapping and are binary processed and therefore, a 'line' generated on a boundary between the regions can be improved in a form of a diffusion matrix. |
