PURPOSE:To obtain a primer which can be cured at a relatively low temperature, by mixing a specified basic copolymerization catalyst, a specified addition- polymerization type curing agent and a specified organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:A primer composition comprising a basic polymerization catalyst (a) which can cure an epoxy resin at room temperature, an addition- polymerization type curing agent (b) which can cure an epoxy resin at room temperature and an organic solvent (c) which can dissolve said epoxy resin and said basic polymerization catalyst. The basis polymerization catalyst functions as a basic polymerization catalyst for an epoxy resin and has a curing promoting action for the latent curing agent contained in an epoxy resin sheet or tape. As said basic polymerization catalysts, those having a high basicity and good compatibility with an epoxy resin are desirable, and examples thereof include tetramethylguanidine, triethylenedimaine and 1-benzyl-2-methylimidazole. |
