PURPOSE:To easily execute an optical axis adjustment in a short time by constituting the titled device with a light projecting/receiving device body, a cylindrical body and a hollow axis, so that the cylindrical body can be supported by a spherical bearing. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with a cylindrical air purge part 21, and the air purge part 21 is attached to a flue through a flange provided on its one end part. To the inside peripheral wall of the other end part of the air purge part 21, a spherical bearing 23 is attached, and through this bearing 23, a light projecting/receiving body 24 is connected. The bearing 23 has a degree of freedom against an angular displacement in all the directions of the axis center. Also, a light projecting part 28 and a light receiving part 29 which have been contained in the inside of the body 24 are connected to a cable 32, respectively, and led out to the outside through a hollow axis 30. On the projecting part 28, an adjusting axis 33 for adjusting a focus is provided. Also, on the upper part side of the body 24, a supporting member 35 is formed, and on the outside surface side of the member 35, a spherical washer is inserted through. Moreover, a lock nut 39 is inserted through, and by a screw formed on the hollow axis 30, the hollow axis 30 is fixed to the member 35. By the spherical washer and the nut 39, a fastening member which can adjust an angle is constituted. In such a way, the optical axis is adjusted, and also, a focus adjustment of the projecting part 28 is executed.
