A light-fitting of the type which consists of elongate fittings 2, 4 mounted end to end or to intermediate pieces in the form of, for example, bends 6 or T-pieces, the individual fittings being electrically connected to one another and by means of said intermediate pieces 6, 8, 28, characterized in that each fitting 2, 4 and each intermediate piece is made with opposite, mutually different end parts which comprise complementary plug- together parts 14, 20; 16, 18 for establishing both a firm mechanical connection and a suitable electrical connection between the end parts, the fittings 2 and the intermediate pieces 6, 8, 28 being provided in advance with the necessary electrical connections between, respectively, the complementary plug connections 16, 18 and these and the light sources in the fittings. <IMAGE>
