PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition free of initial coloration and excellent in heat stability, by mixing a halogenated resin with tribasic lead sulfate or dibasic lead sulfite and a mixture of a boric ester with a mono- or di-ester of glycerol at a specified mixing ratio. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. halogenated resin (A) such as PVC, vinylidene chloride or a copolymer of a vinyl halide with vinyl acetate or the like is mixed with 0.1-10pts.wt. tribasic lead sulfate or dibasic lead sulfite (B), 0.1-5pts.wt. mixture (C) formed by mixing a boric ester (a) such as a product obtained by reacting boric or metaboric acid (anhydride) with an 8-22C monoalcohol at a molar ratio of 1/1-3 with a mono- or di-ester of glycerol (b) at an (a) to (b) weight ratio of 1-4/4-1 and, optionally, 0.01-1pt.wt. phenolic antioxidant (D) (e.g., 2,6-di-t-butyl-p-cresol).
