PURPOSE:To make the captioned pump compact by installing a piezoelectric ceramics to the outer surface corresponding to the base part of an inner projection of a complex comprising of holes of a plurality of metal plates, plate-shaped projections within a flow-passage, an inflow port, and an outflow port. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric pump is made up of metal plates 1 to 5, round holes 13 and 12, projections 7 and 8, and a piezoelectric ceramics 6. When electric voltage is impressed periodically to the piezoelectric ceramics 6, small projections 7 and 8 repeat the push-up and push-down motion. As a result, the liquid in a flow passage 14 is pushed out from a round hole 12 and is moved toward another round hole 13. Accordingly, the fluid in a flow passage can easily be moved by means of simple structure.
