发明名称 START AND STOP CONTROLLING METHOD FOR FUEL CELL POWER GENERATION EQUIPMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent excessive pressure difference between a fuel gas chamber and an oxidizer chamber and to prevent immeasurable occurrence of an accidental fire in a reformer burner by opening/closing a fuel gas inlet valve, a fuel gas outlet valve, and a by-pass valve in prescribed orders when an operation of a fuel cell is started and stopped. CONSTITUTION:When an operation of a fuel cell is started, a fuel gas outlet valve 13 is first opened and a fuel gas inlet valve 12 is opened a prescribed time later to start power generation. Behind a time required for performing complete gas substitution inside a fuel gas chamber 1d after the opening of the inlet valve 12, a by-pass valve 15 is closed to supply the whole amount of the fuel gas to the gas chamber 1d and besides to continue a reforming operation. When the operation of the fuel cell is stopped, the by-pass valve 15 is first opened to supply one part of the fuel gas to a burner 2d of a reformer. Next the inlet valve 12 is closed a prescribed time later, and in this state an inactive gas supply valve 14 is opened to substitute the inactive gas for the gas inside the gas chamber 1d. Further behind a time required for this gas substitution, the outlet valve 13 is closed to fill the gas chamber 1d with the inactive gas. Hence, rapid fluctuation in an internal pressure of the fuel gas chamber can be prevented from occurring at the time of start and stop, and also occurrence of an accidental fire by the burner is preventible.
