PURPOSE:To automatically control continuously proper seeding, by taking a photograph of soil surface of bed, analyzing image pickup picture information thereof and regulating the amount of seed fed in a weeding device depending upon result of the analysis. CONSTITUTION:A color video camera CA is set between a seeding device 8 and a soil covering device 9. The camera CA is equipped with an image treating device 22, which quantizes image information, converts an image to a binary dyestuff image corresponding to color of rice seeds, calculates the number of rice seeds and judges whether the number of the rice seeds is in a set range or not. When the amount of rice seeds fed is changed in seeding and bad seeding occurs, the image treating device 22 instantly finds out the change, transmit an order to a third control device D3, successively the third control device opens or closes a shutter 23, the amount of rice seeds fed is reduced or increased and feed back control is thus carried out to regulate the number of rice seeds in a set range.
