<p>PURPOSE:To accelerate printing speed even when density gradation processing is performed by causing each of printing data of a single line divided in a plurality of segments to be input in parallel from a data input means and stored into a data storage means, and printing characters based on the stored data. CONSTITUTION:Each of printing data of a single line divided in a plurality of segments is input in parallel by means of a data input means 111 and stored into a data storage means 113. A data printing means 115 performs printing on the basis of printing data which is stored in the data storage means. Transfer of data to the subject line printing head is accelerated at high speed by parallel input of data and, as a whole, printing time is reduced.</p> |
