CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 10 supplies the internal trigger signal Pin generated according to a horizontal synchronizing signal VD supplied from a timing generation part to a clear pulse generation part 20 as the shutter trigger signal SP, but supplies the external trigger signal Pout to the clear pulse generation part 20 as the shutter trigger signal SP preferentially to the internal trigger signal Pin when the external trigger signal Pout is supplied which does not synchronize with the vertical synchronizing signal VD. The control circuit 10 outputs a shutter closing signal Stc to the timing generation part 6 a shutter driving time after the external trigger signal Pout is outputted to the clear pulse generation part 20. Consequently, a shutter speed can be increased.
