Device improving the performance of artificial intelligence. The invention consists in adding, to the arithmetic and logic unit of a computer, an integrated circuit whose function will be to endow the computer with memory, to allow it to make inferences and particular figures of style, metaphors and metonymies in particular. The device is an integrated circuit consisting of two divider operators A and B and of a multiplier operator C, each operator having two inputs and one output, the outputs of the two divider operators being the inputs of the multiplier C. S(t); s(t); S1(t); s(t) are the input signals of A and of B, N1(t) and N2(t) are the output signals. The role of the multipliers and of the dividers may be reversed. The device according to the invention improves the performance of artificial intelligence, especially translating machines. <IMAGE>
