PURPOSE:To reduce the space of installation and simplify the construction in a captioned device with a combustion type cooling-water preheater provided in an engine cooling-water circuit by adopting a construction to connect a cooling- water circulating pump and a fuel pump by a double shaft motor and an electromagnetic clutch. CONSTITUTION:A cooling-water circulating pump 2 is driven by a motor 6, and cooling-water is circulated and introduced into a preheater 3 for preheating. At this stage, when the temperature of the cooling-water is low, a thermal switch 309 is operated to open a fuel supply electromagnetic valve 9 via a glow plug 311 and drive a fuel pump 303 for making combustion in a preheater 3. When the temperature of the cooling-water is risen to a fixed level, the thermal switch 9 is opened, and the electromagnetic vavle 9 is closed to stop the combustioln. At this time point, current is continuously supplied to an electromagnetic switch 7a, and a fan 304 is continued to rotate to cool the inside of the furnace. As the temperature in the furnace is lowered, the electromagnetic clutch 7a is intercepted. This construction permits to operate the captioned device by a single motor for simplifying the construction and reducing the space. |
