PURPOSE:To bring a brush into contact with rings invariably stably by arranging the tips of the brush to be brought into contact with mating rings so as to face each other for either of the positive and reverse rotating directions of a rotary member. CONSTITUTION:A brush 14 slidably brought into contact with rings 12 circularly provided on a disk 10 is bent at both tip sections 14a, 14b so as to face each other. One brush tip section 14a is bent in the separating direction for the rotation of the disk 10 provided with the rings 12 in the arrow A direction, for example, and the other brush tip section 14b is bent in the separating direction for the rotation of the disk 10 in the arrow B direction. The brush is thereby kept in contact with the rings and no chattering occurs even if the rotation of the slip rings is abruptly switched in either of the positive and reverse directions.
