PURPOSE:To accurately measure the flow rate of supplied granules without anytime delay by measuring the weight of the granules which are supplied by a specific amount at each time, measuring the supply time by a detector provided in a passage which supplies the measured granules to a processor according to whether or not there are granules, and computing the flow rate from the weight and time. CONSTITUTION:A feeder gate 2 is opened first and granules are fed into a hopper scale 3 from a supply pipe by a specific batch amount or amount determined by a specific time. Then when the granules reaches the amount, the gate 2 is closed to stop feeding the granules and the amount of the fed granules is measured. A feeder 8, on the other hand, discharges granules which are stored in a check bin 7 last to a processor from a discharge port 8a by a set amount, and the granules in the bin 7 decrease. Simultaneously, when an emptiness/ fullness sensor 6 detects no granule being left in a straight pipe 5, a bottom opening 3a is opened to discharge the granules which are already measured into the hopper 4 from a scale 3 by the batch amount. At this time, the time elapsed from the time when the emptiness is detected by the sensor 6 is measured.
