<p>The effectiveness of a filler consisting of a mixture of substances is improved in such a way that the advantageous properties of the individual components are enhanced. To achieve this in a mixture consisting of a water-repellent material and a dilatable synthetic substance in powder form, the volume fraction of the filler is less than 10 %, to avoid any lasting detrimental effect on the dielectric properties of the material. In addition, the particles of the dilatable substance are not larger than 50 νm, in order to ensure rapid dilatation.</p> |
