The invention relates to a vortex sheet (plate) for heat transfer devices, the vortex sheet having press-outs (notches) on alternate sides. It is the object of the invention to produce a vortex sheet having press-outs which has a sufficiently large flow cross-section without increasing the number of the regions not included in the flow. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the length of the press-outs 1 is shorter than the width of the windows 4 from which they were stamped out and the press-outs 1 bear on the channel walls 2 with their ends.
