<p>PURPOSE:To correct the distortion of the whole picture plane by conducting interpolation when the address of a memory is brought to the multiple of a certain natural number and independently performing the magnification of decimal times in the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction. CONSTITUTION:When the content of a field memory having picture elements of 512X240 is to be printed by employing a printer having picture elements of 640X480 with the aspect ratio of 1.0, a horizontal picture-element number ratio takes 5:4. Consequently, when a picture element address is brought to the multiple of 4 so as to hold 512X5divided by 4=640, an interpolation data 2 is inserted to the data 1 of a picture element memory. Accordingly, the magnification of 1.25 times is enabled, and the distortion of the whole picture plane is corrected. Double interpolation is conducted in the longitudinal direction and double magnification is performed, and a feed picture is used as a dummy framed picture.</p> |
