Thread fastening in spectacles with partial rims

A description is given of an improved thread fastening for tension threads in spectacles with partial rims, which ensures a reliable and lasting thread tension not only with partial rims made of metal but also with those made of plastic. The tension thread is pulled through in each case three holes on the ends of a partial rim in such a manner that the thread is self-locking (self-retaining).
