The various types of pump currently in use almost all have difficulties maintaining a constant delivery rate at optimum pressure conditions in the lower range of speeds or strokes. The new multiple-piston flywheel rotary pump (MPFRP) is intended [lacuna] the entire range of delivery, and in particular solve the problems existing in the lower delivery range, thanks to its construction. The MPFRP drive shaft(s) with cylinder(s) is (are) driven by an externally flange-mounted motor; the drive shaft sets the multiple-piston flywheel in rotation. This in turn with its 2.1 double-acting pistons (crossed piston arrangement separated by the flywheel) performs about 1 1/2 different piston strokes each 90@ per revolution 4., thus providing the linear and constant delivery rate, including the necessary pressure, both in the lower and upper range of delivery rates. Due to its optimum delivery rate, simple and therefore cheap production, and easy-maintenance handling, the use of the MPFRP is appropriate wherever a constant delivery rate under constant pressure is required in the lower and indeed over the whole working range. <IMAGE>
