The conveyor track (1) of the singling-out apparatus is formed by a plurality of cords (2) which are arranged one next to the other and converge towards one another. Conveyor belts (3 and 4) are provided along the conveyor track (1) and form the lateral boundary of the conveyor track. The arrangement set up prevents the packages from jamming between the conveyor track and the lateral boundary or twisting in an uncontrolled manner. <IMAGE>
