NEW MATERIAL:Dihydrido( 1, 3-diphenyltriazenido )[bis(1, 2-diphenylphosphino) benzene]rhodium(III) of formula (Ph is phenyl). USE:A polymerization initiator for MMA, alpha-olefin, etc., and a hydrogenation catalyst. It can proceed hydrogenation reaction under mild condition, i.e. at normal temperature under normal pressure. PREPARATION:1,3-Diphenyltriazene and a solution of potassium hydroxide are added to a solution of rhodium chloride under heating and stirring to effect the reaction of the components. The reaction liquid is dripped into a boiling triphenylphosphine solution to proceed the reaction and spontaneously cooled. The produced precipitate is separated by filtration, washed successively with a solvent and water and dried to obtain the objective compound. The solvent used in the washing process is preferably ethanol. |
