PURPOSE:To enable a radioactive radiation resistant cable to possess both the flexibility and the incombustibility by providing a lead-laminated plastics film layer having the lead layer thickness of not less than 10mum on the outer periphery of a rubber and plastics insulated conductor, and then placing a sheath layer, which is composed of a specified nonflammable synthetic-rubber composition, thereon. CONSTITUTION:On the outer periphery of a rubber and plastics insulated conductor 1 is provided a lead-laminated plastics film layer 4. In addition, on the lead-laminated plastics film layer 4 are placed sheath layers 5, 5' consisting of a nonflammable synthetic-rubber composition selected from among bydrogenated nitrile rubber which has an oxygen index of not less than 25, styrene-butadiene rubber and urethane rubber. Thereby, a radioactive radiation resistant cable possessing both the flexibility and the incombustibility can be obtained. |
