PURPOSE:To obtain the titled polymer having excellent mechanical properties free from discoloration, by blending a polyolefin containing a large amount of Ti component of catalytic residue with a specific compound, a phenolic antioxidant, a radical generator and an unsaturated silane compound in a molten state. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. polyolefin containing >=5ppm titanium component of catalytic residue or >=0.5ppm vanadium component is blended with (B) 0.01-1pt.wt. zinc salt of carboxylic acid (preferably zinc stearate), (C) 0.01-1pt.wt. phenolic antioxidant (e.g. 2,6-di-butyl-p-cresol), (D) 0.005-5pts.wt. radical generator [preferably 2,5-di-methyl-2,5-di-(t-butyl-peroxy)hexane] and (E) 0.1-10pts.wt. ethylenic unsaturated compound (preferably vinyltrimethoxy silane) and kneaded in a molten state at 150-300 deg.C. |
