<p>The hydraulic actuator comprises a hydraulic master cylinder (12) having an outlet (12e) for connection to a slave cylinder (14) through a working fluid conduit (15) and an inlet port (12d) for connection to the outlet port (23) of a reservoir (10). A supply conduit (16) is provided to establish fluid communication between the two said ports (12d, 23). The supply conduit in one embodiment is normally connected at one end to one of the ports and has a coupling (22) at its free other end to enable it to be connected to the other port. The coupling includes a seal (24c) which normally closes the free end of the supply conduit but which opens as a result of connection to the other port.</p> |
