At this time, the fluorescence penetrant 1 penetrating the crack 3 reacts on the inspection liquid 4 and its upper part becomes transparent to the light in the ultraviolet ray range, but the fluorescence penetrant 1 is left inside without being removed. In this state, the surface is irradiated with ultraviolet light, fluorescent light is generated by the fluorescence penetrant 1 left in the crack through the filmy layer 5 and the crack 3 can be confirmed visually.
