PURPOSE:To achieve non-contact detection of phase at one time in a 3-phase transmission/distribution line, by arranging a photoelectric field sensor using a Pockets effect element near the 3-phase transmission/distribution line. CONSTITUTION:Capacitor parallel that a electrodes 10 and 10' of a photoelectric field sensor are arranged right below the center of 3-phase transmission/ distribution lines A-C to receive a horizontal electric field being divided. Potential generated between the electrodes 10 and 10' is introduced to a Pockets effect element 11 with a lead 12 and subjected to an optoelectric conversion with a light waveguide through an E/O transducer 13 and an O/E transducer 14 to obtain an AC sine wave voltage component. In other words, when three wires A-C are arranged and a voltage applied thereto correspond to any one of VR, VS and VT, voltage are detected in six arrays of phases depending on the combination of application of voltages VR, VS and VT. Then, voltage phases detected are obtained by determining a phase reference to clarify which of the voltages VR, VS and VT is applied to each one of A-C wires. This enables detection of phases of applied voltages of the wires by extracting voltage components with a photoelectric field sensor. |
