PURPOSE:To design secure liquid-tightness by providing a set of split molds with a surface for forming a closed gap between an outer circumferential surface of a bridge section, an edged section for coming into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the bridge section, and a hollow space provided on the side surface section of the edged section which is to come into contact with a partition wall. CONSTITUTION:A set of split molds 9 for forming is provided with a surface 13 for forming a closed gap between the outer circumferential surface 5 of a bridge section 4, an edged section 6 for coming into contact with the outer circumferential surface 5 of the bridge section 4, and a hollow space 8 provided on a side surface section 7 of the edged section 6 for coming into contact with a partition wall 2. As a result, scraped chips produced are collected in the hollow space 8 and there is no possibility of the scraped chips forcing into the partition wall 2 even when the split molds 9 are completely installed to the bridge section 4. This makes it possible to obtain a storage battery of excellent liquid-tightness betwen cells. |
