This device consists of a thin part (3), in rigid material, in the form of a closed loop, the profile of which corresponds to that of the opening (1) of the hand passage made in the profile (2). Transverse ribs (4, 4') are provided on its outer face. The length of these ribs (4, 4') corresponds exactly to the internal width of the profile so as to permit their engagement between the lateral walls (5, 5') of the profile during fitting of the part in the said opening.
