CONSTITUTION:The temperature of an optical unit 14 is detected by a temperature detecting means 18, and a set value Na of a counter counted value setting circuit is changed to Na+DELTAN or Na-DELTAN in accordance with the detected temperature to change the image recording start timing to a photosensitive body 1a, and the image recording start timing of a laser beam 7a is quickened or delayed. The image due to the laser beam 7a projected to a point H on the photosensitive drum 1a is transferred to an ideal line 21T on a transfer paper 18. The image recording start timing is corrected in this manner with respect to the other drums also.
