PURPOSE:To prevent a molded product from getting flawed in molding by pressurized air molding with a mold having an elastomer layer on the surface. CONSTITUTION:A transparent plastic plate or a sheet is formed by pressure forming by a molding die having an elastomer layer on the surface. As the kind of the elastomer, for example, ethylene-propylene rubber, natural rubber, urethane rubber, acrylic rubber and the like is used. As the method of providing the elastomer on the mold surface, for instance, the method of applying an elastomer sheet of 0.1-5 mm thickness on the surface of the mold, the method of coating the mold surface with a monomer or solution of elastomer, or the like is utilized. Molding of a transparent plastic with curved surface can be carried out easily by utilizing said molding method.
