摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an optical diaphragm where the center of a transmission part is less deviated and the shape of the transmission part is less disturbed, by raising the electrode resistance of at least one of two transparent electrodes between which liquid crystal is interposed and concentrating apexes of respective divided electrodes to one point. CONSTITUTION:Liquid crystal 1 is interposed between two transparent electrodes 4 and 11, and an electrode 10 is divided into electrodes 10a-10h and the elec trode 11 is divided into electrodes 11a-11h along lines passing a center 5, and a corrector 12 which supplies an optimum voltage to the electrode 10 consists of correction resistances 12a-12h. The electrode 11 has a relatively high resistance value and the transparent electrode 4 has a low resistance value to lead an equivalent circuit, and the light is more transmitted according to going to the center 5. The electrode 11 is divided along lines passing the center 5 and the center of the transmission part is mechanically determined, and the unevenness of the shape of the transmission part due to the ununiformity of the resistance value of the electrode 10 is corrected by respective correction resistances. Thus, the center of the transmission part is not deviated and the shape of the transmission part is adjusted.
