<p>Anti-Leukotriene composition preferably for internal administration, comprising at least one zwitterionic buffer having a pKa value at 20°C in the range of 6.0 to 10.5, in association with a pharmaceutically acceptable diluent or excipient therefor. The composition may be used in the preparation of medicaments for use as a leukotriene mediator, or for use in the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases in the stimulation of myeloperoxidase, and the medicament may also serve as a anti-bacterial agent.</p> |
