In an arrangement for suppressing snoring in a sleeping person amplifiers which prefer low frequencies and integrating amplifiers are to be arranged downstream from freely suspended microphones for virtually exclusively recording snoring sounds, in order thus to eliminate any noise caused by movements in the supporting cushions as well as the normal sounds of the room which are usually restricted to higher frequencies and last only a short time.
