The variation in size of samples (2) subjected to NMR testing (1) necessitates calibration of the high-frequency excitation (11) at the origin of the phenomenon of resonance measured (14) during such testing. The most appropriate amplitude of high-frequency excitation is determined by exploring the range of possible amplitudes from one end of said range. During this exploration, the excitation amplitude variation varies in geometrical proportion (20) to the serial number (N) of the test. In this way, the calibrated amplitude can be more rapidly determined while maintaining constant precision. |
