PURPOSE:To facilitate multicolor recording by overlapping a part of different color toner on a first toner image into which an electrostatic latent image is developed. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive body 1 is positively electrified by an electrifier 4. The photosensitive body 1 is exposed to light through a red filter 22a in an exposure part 10, and the, the electrostatic charge on parts corresponding to a white ground part W and a red image R of a color original on the photosensitive body 1 is removed, and a cyan toner image is formed by development of a developing device 5. Next, the photosensitive body 1 is positively electrified again by an electrifier 15 and is exposed to light through a cyan filter 22b in an exposure part 20 to form an electrostatic latent image. When this latent image is developed with red toner by a developing device 6, red toner is superposedly developed over cyan toner in the part corresponding to a black image BK. These toner images are collectively transferred to a recording form 12.
