摘要 1. Emergency braking device for shaft conveying means with at least two brake blocks (3) in the form of a steel construction (4), within which elastic elements (5) are arranged to form friction surfaces which work in conjunction with steel friction elements guided within the brake blocks and displaceable with regard to the latter, characterised in that - the friction elements are in the form of longitudinal friction rails (2) which at their lower ends are firmly clamped and subjected to tensile forces and which extend in the direction of conveying, increasing in thickness the direction of braking, and in that - the brake blocks (3) are compact and movably guided on the friction rails (2), being arranged in the shaft conveying means path (6) in such a way that in the event of over or underwinding of the shaft conveying means they are displaced along the friction rails (2) without causing destruction.
